Quantum Game in Matrix Strategies

چکیده

We study a quantum game played by two players with restricted multiple strategies. It is found that in quantum game Nash equilibrium does not always exist which is totally different from that in classical game. This happens only when the initial state is in entangled state. At the same time, we find that when Nash equilibrium exists the pay off function is usually different from that in the classical counterpart except in some special cases. This presents an explicit example where quantum game and classical game differ fundamentally.

اثر درهم‌تنیدگی و چهارچوب نالخت در بازی کوانتومی چهارکیوبیتی

The effect of increasing quantum bits and Unruh effect on quantum Prisoners’ dilemma has been investigated for both entangled and unentangled initial states. The Nash equilibrium, as an important result of quantum game theory, was obtained through the different payoffs resulted from choosing various strategies. It has been shown that the non-inertial frame disturbs the symmetry of the game. Act...

Hamiltonian Formulism of Game Theory

A new representation of Game Theory is developed in this paper. State of players is represented by a density matrix, and payoff function is a set of hermitian operators, which when applied onto the density matrix give the payoff of players. By this formulism, a new way to find the equilibria of games is given by generalizing the thermodynamical evolutionary process leading to equilibrium in Sta...

A satisfactory strategy of multiobjective two person matrix games with fuzzy payoffs

The multiobjective two person matrix game problem with fuzzy payoffs is considered in this paper. It is assumed that fuzzy payoffs are triangular fuzzy numbers. The problem is converted to several multiobjective matrix game problems with interval payoffs by using the $alpha$-cuts of fuzzy payoffs. By solving these problems some $alpha$-Pareto optimal strategies with some interval outcomes are o...

Noisy quantum Monty Hall game

The influence of spontaneous emission channel and generalized Pauli channel on quantum Monty Hall Game is analysed. The scheme of Flittney and Abbott is reformulated using the formalism of density matrices. Optimal classical strategies for given quantum strategies are found. The whole presented scheme illustrates how quantum noise may change the odds of a zero-sum game.
